Message from Dr. Amin:
I was born the youngest of 4 children (and the only son) to parents who were the first people in their families to live in the United States. My father moved to the US from India and worked as a chemical engineer. My mother moved to the US from the Philippines and worked as a nurse. The stories that my mother shared about providing medical care steered me towards a career in medicine. During medical school, I was drawn to pediatrics because it focused on providing patients and their parents the skills to promote a lifetime of healthier living. I look forward to fostering these abilities for the next generation of patients and parents.
